Greetings fellow Toddites:
As I will not be able to join you in person, or online this Saturday, I wanted
to send you this brief note to say "hi" to all you left coasters.
It was just over 3 years ago that I first got hooked up to the internet. One
of the first things I did was an internet search for "Todd Rundgren", which
led me to The Individualist website, then to the TR Connection, and
eventually, the awiz list.
In the past 3 years, I've met some great people (some in person, some only
virtually) who helped to rekindle my love of Todd's music, some who have
become friends from distant places. I've even made some new friends right
here in Toronto. And how many times do you get to do that in your life,
especially at our age with our busy lives?
So, have a great time, and maybe I'll get to see some of you at a show or at
HershFest West '99!
Miss you all (except sob - just kidding!).
